About the
Project
What started as a favor for a friend—photographing a few practice sessions for the Owyhee Motorcycle Club—quickly turned into covering full race days. Working in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment pushed me to adapt quickly and capture moments as they happened.
I expanded the project by incorporating drone footage, creating a video that adds a wider, more dynamic perspective to the races. The experience helped me refine my approach to action photography and storytelling, both on the ground and in the air.

Split Seconds
Over time, I kept coming back to shoot more practices, which eventually led to photographing their race banquet as well. Every time I’m out there, it’s a constant chase—trying to catch those split-second moments where the dirt flies, the light hits just right, and everything lines up in the middle of the chaos.
Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people and built a real appreciation for everyone who does this sport.
